Bangalore: Royal Challengers Bengaluru has won the IPL title (RCB IPL Champion) for two consecutive seasons after a wait of 18 years. However, after the team’s title win, the supporters’ celebration time was interrupted once again.
The memories of what happened during the team’s jubilation after RCB won their first IPL title last year are still fresh in everyone’s mind. 11 people were crushed to death in the rush of victory. There was a natural uproar in that incident. After RCB’s second title win over the weekend, there was once again a bit of anarchy surrounding the victory celebrations at different places in Bengaluru.

In many places excessive people congregate. This picture was captured in a viral video. But perhaps the Karnataka police took action quickly after learning from the last incident. They quickly broke up the crowd of supporters. As a result, no accident has been reported anywhere so far.
It should be noted that RCB did not plan to celebrate after winning the IPL this time because of the memory of last time’s incident. As an added precaution, the team backed off from holding any victory parades this season.

In a statement on their social media, RCB said, ‘What an amazing night. What an incredible feeling! Congratulations to every member of RCB. This is your win. Even as the celebration begins, let us be responsible. The best way to celebrate is to spend time with loved ones. Relive the memories and enjoy this special moment at home. See you again at the stadium next year, Twelfth Man Army. Until then spread the joy and support us.’
That is, through this notification, the RCB franchise has made one thing clear that they do not want any untoward incident to happen again. As an additional precaution, they have backed away from this victory procession. In 2025, RCB won the title by defeating Punjab Kings. And this time, Rajat Patidar’s team defeated Gujarat Titans in the final.
