How To Sleep Fast: If you are not able to sleep quickly at night, then the reason is the screen of your gadgets. Stopping its use one hour before sleeping can eliminate your sleep problems. The blue light emitted from screens keeps the brain active and suppresses the melatonin hormone, which helps in inducing sleep.

How To Sleep Fast: In today’s time, people check their mobile before sleeping at night and first thing in the morning when they wake up. Whereas health experts always refuse this. Insomnia has become a common problem due to the habit of using mobile throughout the day or in today’s hectic and irregular daily routine. Despite mental and physical fatigue throughout the day, there is no sleep in the eyes. In such a situation, the National Health Mission has given important advice to people for better and deeper sleep.
According to experts, the use of mobile, TV, laptop or any screen should be completely stopped at least one hour before sleeping. The blue light emitted from screens keeps the brain active and suppresses the melatonin hormone, which helps in inducing sleep. Due to this, there is delay in falling asleep and sleep remains fragmented. Therefore, after waking up in the morning, fatigue, irritability and stress increases.
In the long run, this habit has adverse effects on health, such as weak immunity, lack of concentration, obesity and risk of heart diseases. According to health experts, staying away from screens before sleeping is the easiest and most effective way to get deep and restful sleep. Adopt quiet activities in the evening, such as reading a good book, listening to light music, deep breathing, light family conversations, and light stretching or meditation.
These activities calm the mind, reduce stress and prepare the body for sleep. Also, keep the bedtime the same every day, make the room dark and cool and do not consume caffeine or heavy food at night.
Experts say that a good sleep of 7-8 hours is necessary for every age. Especially youth and children are suffering from lack of sleep due to excessive screen time. If you also scroll on your phone till late at night and feel tired in the morning, then try to change this habit from today itself.
