A baby monkey has gone viral on social media for the past few days. His name is Panch. Many people cannot hold back tears after watching that video. However, it is known that after 7 months of birth, the little punch finally got a hug.

Panch was born in July 2025. He is rejected by his mother. As a result, the staff of the Japanese zoo raised him by hand. He is given a soft toy doll. He developed a deep bond with it. The doll is named “Ora-mama”. This toy gave him comfort and security.

Zoo worker Kosuke Shikano said, “This stuffed toy has relatively long fur and few easy places to hold on to. We thought that its monkey-like appearance might help Punch rejoin the group in the future. That’s why we chose it.”
