For CT Angiography people have to deposit Rs 1000. All these prices are for OPD and general ward patients. If you are admitted in the private ward of AIIMS, then you have to deposit a little more money. Private ward patients have to deposit Rs 750 for CT Scan and CT Guided Intervention, Rs 1000 for Head, PNS and Neck CT Scan and Rs 1100 for CT Angiography. These prices are much lower than private hospitals.
MRI scan fees in AIIMS Delhi
The fee for MRI scan in AIIMS Delhi has been kept at Rs 3000. If a patient needs additional MRI study, then an additional Rs 1500 has to be paid for it. MRI contrast charge for children is Rs 1000, while for adults it is Rs 2000. If high contrast MRI is required, its fee is Rs 3000. In some cases doctors recommend additional MRI film. In such a situation, the patient has to pay Rs 500 separately. This fee is charged only when additional film is required. In this way, the charge for every test related to MRI in AIIMS is pre-fixed and transparent, due to which the patients do not face any kind of confusion.

The cost of examination and treatment varies in every private hospital. Talking about CT Scan, its cost in private hospitals ranges between Rs 2500 to Rs 6000. For advanced tests like CT Angiography, you may have to pay Rs 8000 to Rs 15000. Apart from this, separate charges are also added in the name of film, report express delivery and doctor consultation. In big cities, the cost of MRI scan in a good private hospital or diagnostic center can range from Rs 5000 to Rs 12000. If contrast MRI or high-resolution study is done, then this expense can reach up to Rs 15 to 20 thousand. Whereas in children’s MRI, if anesthesia or additional monitoring is required, the charge increases further.
