Washington: America, which is fighting a war with Iran, has decided to send more firepower. The Pentagon has ordered its deadliest unit, the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), deployed in Japan, to immediately reach the Gulf region. This contingent includes 2,200 brave marine commandos and three large amphibious warships. Although American officials say that they are not being sent for direct ground attack, but the F-35 stealth fighter jets and MV-22 Osprey aircraft loaded on these ships are ready to carry out any major attack. This deployment is taking place at a time when Iran has strengthened its hold on the ‘Strait of Hormuz’, which is called the lifeline of the entire world economy. 20 percent of the world’s crude oil passes through this route, which Iran has threatened to block.

The most horrific effect of the Iran war is visible on the global market. Crude oil, which was 60 dollars per barrel at the beginning of the year, has now crossed 100 dollars. There has been a huge jump of 75% in the prices of natural gas in Europe. Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has made it clear that until America stops the attacks, Oil supply through Hormuz will be disrupted. Europe’s double move: talks on one side, fear on the other

The surprising thing is that while America is showing its military strength, its allies France and Italy have started talks with Iran (Tehran) from behind the scenes. These countries are demanding ‘safe passage’ for their ships.

Danger from Pentagon’s new strategy

The US Central Command has demanded more destroyers and warships from the Pentagon. Their main work will be to provide security to commercial ships and oil tankers. But experts believe that ‘escort operation’ (guarding of ships) will be started only when the threat of Iranian attacks reduces a bit. Presently the situation is that no merchant ship is daring to pass through this route.
