But this momo plate of 50 rupees has 10 pieces of chicken momos, along with two kinds of chutney and chicken soup. This amazing momo is available in Burdwan city. In Baro Nilpur area of the city, a small shop next to Jagarani ground is selling tempting momos at cheap prices.
Food lovers and momo lovers of the city flock to this small roadside shop in the evening. Although the price is lower than other shops, there is no shortage of cleanliness or taste. According to shop owner Ranjit Verma, momos are sold for Tk 60, 70 in other places. But mine is available here for 50 taka. Even if I give it for 50 taka, I have a profit, so I sell it.
Five years ago, Ranjit Verma, who came to Burdwan from Dhanbad in Jharkhand, started the business. Momo started his business with a small shop. He said that to increase the demand of momo, he sold momo at 50 taka. More people come to it. As a result, sales increase. Currently, the popularity of his momos is spreading around.
Shravani Pradhan came to the store to eat momos that day. He said, “Good quality momos are available at a reasonable price. So I often eat at this shop when I travel this way. The quality is absolutely ten on ten. I have never had momos anywhere else at this price. Two types of chutney, chicken soup are served with the momos. The sale is also very good. People will definitely flock there if you get good quality items at a reasonable price.”
