At the same time, according to Ayurveda, the decoction or juice made from Palash flowers is very beneficial for the body. It can especially help in controlling diabetes and increased cholesterol. If consumed in the right way and in limited quantity, it can prove beneficial for the body.

Helpful in diabetes and cholesterol
Ayurveda expert (MD) Dr. Santosh Maurya explains that Palash flowers contain elements that can help in keeping the sugar level of the body balanced. Besides, it is also considered helpful in reducing increased cholesterol in the body. For this reason, it is advised to consume its decoction and juice in Ayurveda. Since, the decoction of Palash flowers helps in improving the metabolism of the body. This helps in controlling blood sugar. Apart from this, it is also considered helpful in reducing bad cholesterol accumulated in the body.

Method of making decoction from flowers
Many people in rural areas still adopt it as a home remedy. Experts say that to make the decoction, take 5 to 6 fresh flowers of Palash. Put them in a glass of water and boil on low flame for about 10 to 15 minutes. When the water remains half, turn off the gas and filter it. Consume this decoction when it is lukewarm. Consuming it on an empty stomach in the morning is considered more beneficial.

How to make juice
If you want to consume it in the form of juice, then first wash the fresh flowers of Palash thoroughly with clean water. After this, add some water and grind them in the mixer. Filter the prepared mixture and separate its juice. This juice can be drunk in the morning or once a day. Some people also add some honey or lemon to it to enhance the taste.
