Trump has been expressing his desire to receive this award for a long time, although the Nobel Prize Committee has already made it clear that this honor can neither be shared nor transferred to anyone.

Machado reached the White House on Thursday, where she was taken inside amid tight security. This visit of Machado, seen in a white suit, was also special because it was one of her rare high-level meetings with Trump. According to officials, a closed-door lunch meeting took place between the two leaders, but no official information was revealed on the agenda and outcomes of the talks.
