Dream Of Civic Police: Footballer’s Dream Behind Police Duty, Narayanagarh’s Constant Struggle In Monsoon
Paschim Medinipur: If he has work in the morning, he practices in the afternoon, and if he is on duty in the afternoon or at night, he goes down to the field with a football jersey in the morning. Borsha Ghora, a resident of Gaita area of Narayangarh block of West Medinipur district, is moving forward with equal importance to both responsibility and dream. He is a civic volunteer by profession, currently working in Narayangarh police station. However, the dream of a footballer is hidden behind the police uniform.
Although there was no connection with football in the family, Varshar developed an interest in football from the time he was in the fifth standard. Regular practice started with the inspiration of a teacher in school life. That motivation gradually took him to district and state level competitions. The school also participated in the ‘Khelo India’ competition. Later, he participated in the Beach Cup and gave an eye-catching performance.
Due to the family’s financial incapacity, the thought of livelihood was also a big challenge along with studies. In that situation, getting a job as a civic volunteer at the initiative of the Chief Minister brought great relief to Barsha’s life. He is currently practicing regularly at Shersa Stadium in Kharagpur along with his job. Regardless of the duty schedule, football practice is never interrupted. Civic Volunteer Barsha Ghorai’s extraordinary skills in the post graduation profession will surprise everyone.
Varsha’s family consists of father, mother and one sister. Apart from handling the responsibilities of the world, he is also looking steadily towards his dreams. Due to the limitations of middle-class families, access to nutritious food or modern training is not always available. Yet persistence, hard work and self-confidence are his main strengths.
Prasha Ghora enters the field every day with the dream of becoming a big football player in the future. Struggling with responsibilities and dreams, he moves toward his specific goals—quietly, but firmly.
