Washington: The US military said that it has attacked a boat against drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea. America’s Southern Command said on social media that this boat was going through the routes used for smuggling in the Caribbean Sea and drugs were being smuggled through it. He has confirmed that three people were killed in the attack.
So far 133 people have died in the attacks
In the video shared with the post, a boat is seen going into the water and suddenly it catches fire and explodes. After this action on Friday, America has so far carried out at least 38 attacks on boats being used for smuggling in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, in which a total of 133 people have died.
What is America saying on drugs?
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on social media last week that some major drug traffickers had stopped smuggling after recent harsh military strikes, although he did not provide any evidence for this claim. Trump has said that the US is taking ‘armed action’ against drug trafficking gangs in Latin America and has called these attacks a necessary step to stop trafficking.
