Ingredients needed to make Shahi Paneer Biryani
Basmati rice – 4 cups
Cheese – 300 grams
Cashew nut batter – 1/2 cup
Cream – 1/2 cup
Cloves – 5-6
Fried onions – 1/2 cup
Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 5-6 tbsp
Nuts – 10-11
Chopped green chillies – 3-4
Garlic – 5-6 cloves
Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
Grated ginger – 1 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1-2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon- 2 pieces
Big cardamom- 2-3
Green cardamom- 5-6
Whole red pepper- 1/4
Teaspoon salt – as per taste
To make delicious Shahi Paneer Biryani, first cut the paneer into small pieces. After that add ghee in a pan, when it is hot add paneer pieces and fry till golden color. When the paneer is fried, take it out on a plate. Then stir in the remaining ghee with big cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, small cardamom, whole pepper. Then add chopped onions, grated ginger, green chillies, garlic cloves and keep stirring. Now mix well with turmeric, coriander powder, cardamom powder. But be careful not to burn the spices. After that, add tomato puree to it and keep stirring for 4 to 5 minutes. Now mix well with cashew nut batter, cream and salt to taste. Once the mixture is cooked well, stir in the grated paneer pieces and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Now place a pan on low flame and spread one-third of the previously prepared rice in it. Now put paneer on this rice, then again put rice on it and make one layer after another in this way. After that, spread the fried onions on the top layer along with some ghee, now cover the pot and let the biryani cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. Then it is ready. Then serve this Shahi Paneer Biryani hot.
