This story is of Patna IIT alumnus Gaurav Kumar. Who has been intelligent and aware of the problems of the society since childhood. Gaurav tells that when he left Motihari, a small town, and went to a big city for studies, whenever he passed through the streets of big hospitals, he saw people coming from villages standing in queues for hours till late night just to make an appointment with the doctor.

Gaurav told that he was surprised to see these things and how the middlemen and brokers are trapping the innocent people coming from the village. Seeing this big problem, the thought of finding a solution to this problem always came to Gaurav’s mind. Then one day he came to know that his mother had cancer and he started searching for the right doctor for the right treatment, in which he had to face a lot of difficulty. Then from here he decided that he would definitely come up with a solution to this problem.

At the same time, he started working on it along with his team and finally launched an app named bigohealth in 2021. On which a large number of doctors and patients are currently active. Gaurav has also received many big honors for this work. At the same time, recently in 2025, he has also received a big honor in Vietnam by Google’s Vice President Purnima Kochikkar. Apart from this, Gaurav has also been honored by Birac, an organization of the Government of India, for his special work.
