Mumbai. The Golden Globe Awards 2024 ceremony has started. This is the 81st Golden Globes Awards Ceremony. In this ceremony, awards are being given in many categories including last year’s best films and TV shows. There were two most talked about Hollywood films in the year 2023. People associated with entertainment called it the year of ‘Barbenheimer’.

Actually, there was a lot of discussion about Greta Gerving and Margot Robbie’s hot comedy ‘Barbie’ and Christopher Nolan and Cillian Murphy’s biopic ‘Oppenheimer’. Both of them were well liked all over the world. Both the films earned a lot in India also.

For the Golden Globe Awards 2024, ‘Barbie’ has been nominated in 10 categories while ‘Oppenheimer’ has been nominated in 8 categories. ‘Barbie’ is competing with ‘Air’, ‘American Fiction’, ‘Poor Things’, ‘May December’ and ‘The Holdovers’ in the best comedy and music categories.

Whereas ‘Oppenheimer’ is competing with ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, ‘Maestro’, ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, ‘The Zone of Interest’ and ‘Past Lives’ in the Best Drama category.

Christopher Nolan has received the Best Director Award for ‘Oppenheimer’

While Emma Stone has received the Best Actress Comedy Award for ‘Poor Things’. Margot Robbie of ‘Barbie’ lost in this.

Australian actress Sarah Snook won the Best Actress Award in the Television Series, Drama category for ‘Succession’. ‘The Bear’ received the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy. ‘Beef’ won the award for Best Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture.
