This deployment is being done as per pre-planned plans and its purpose is to strengthen the regular military activities related to the security of North America. According to NORAD, the move is part of ongoing defense cooperation between the US, Canada and Denmark and has been carried out in coordination with Copenhagen. Pitfik Space Base is an important US military base located in northwestern Greenland, where a missile warning system is present, which is considered very important for the security of North America. Meanwhile, Denmark has also increased its military presence in Greenland. According to the report, many planes carrying Danish soldiers and military equipment have reached Greenland. In addition to the more than 200 soldiers already deployed there, new troops have been sent to the capital Nuuk and Kangerlussuaq.
