Usually these bara hawkers come from Barabazar in Kolkata. Alampur appeared every morning by bus. From there, Dhulagarh sold across a wide area including Junglepur. A chutney pot in one hand and a bara loaded in a container in the other. Phuluri shaped Potato Bara and Round Ring Bara. Buyer Mohammad Hamid said, ‘This Aharhar dal and Alu Bara is very tasty. The price has increased a little from earlier, now the price of a piece of Bara is 10 taka. Eat it yourself and take it for the family.’
