If the stomach is not completely cleared even after going to the toilet in the morning, it is often considered as constipation. However, constipation is not a direct disease but a kind of disorder, which occurs due to wrong eating habits and disturbed daily routine. Nowadays, excessive consumption of fast food, processed items and chemical-rich foods weakens the digestive system, due to which the problem of not cleaning the stomach starts. If you too are struggling with this problem every day, then some easy and effective remedies have been suggested in Ayurveda, which can provide relief to the stomach without medicine.

Dr. Neha Goyal, an Ayurveda physician practicing in Sultanpur for the last several years, says that instead of considering constipation as a disease, it should be seen as a lifestyle problem. Unbalanced daily routine, not eating food on time, eating too frequently or eating after long intervals are the main causes of constipation. In such people, the digestion process becomes slow, due to which the intestines do not function properly and there is difficulty in cleaning the stomach.

To get relief from constipation, improvement in eating habits is considered most important. According to Dr. Neha Goyal, if 200 to 300 grams of papaya is consumed daily, it helps a lot in cleaning the stomach. Especially ripe papaya improves digestion and softens the stool, due to which the problem of constipation gradually goes away. Therefore, including papaya in your daily diet can prove beneficial.

Apart from this, an easy home remedy is also considered a panacea for constipation. For this, soak one spoon of celery, cumin and fennel in water overnight. In the morning, filter these three and drink that water on an empty stomach. This mixture improves digestion and activates intestinal activity. The best thing is that this Ayurvedic remedy has no side effects, hence by adopting it regularly one can get relief from the problem of constipation.
