America’s notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is once again in the news. Another controversy has arisen regarding that. Meanwhile, an FBI document has claimed that he was an agent of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad, although there was no supporting document for this. The document says that former Israeli PM Ehud Barak had trained him, although Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu rejected these allegations outright.

This document is said to be part of a confidential source report of the FBI. In this, the source noted phone calls between Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz and Epstein and said that information about these conversations was passed to Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad. Based on this, it was believed that he could be an agent of Mossad, although this is only according to one source, till now there has been no independent confirmation of this. There has been denial from Israel also.

Who was Jeffrey Epstein?

Initially he was an ordinary teacher, but soon he started making friends with high-profile people of New York. It was here that he met the famous billionaire Leslie Wexner, who was the owner of Victoria’s Secret. Wexner trusted Epstein so much that he gave him the power to handle his billions of dollars of assets. It was from here that Epstein got money, status and recognition. After this, Epstein presented himself as a financial genius, although there was never any clear information about his business model. The real strength was his connectivity – politicians, billionaires, industrialists, members of the royal family, everyone was in touch with him.

Was Epstein or the network a pawn?

He even bought private jets, luxurious mansions and a private island. At these places he used to arrange secret meetings for rich and powerful people. It was from here that allegations were leveled against him that he used to trap the rich by supplying underage girls and then got hold of their weaknesses. According to experts, Epstein was not just a broker but had become the center of a blackmail network, where money, sex and power were intertwined. This is the reason why despite such serious allegations he continued to survive for years. Even after his death, questions persist as to whether he was alone or just a pawn.
