This is directly a warning to America. North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un recently visited a light weapons factory, where he tested a new pistol. In government media photos, Kim was seen firing a pistol at a shooting range with his daughter Ju A. According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim reviewed the new pistol that recently started production at the factory and after testing it described it as ‘excellent’.

North Korea busy in increasing arms production

Kim Jong Un said that this factory plays an important role in providing pistols and other light weapons to the army and security forces. He directed officials to increase production capacity and establish more modern production lines. Although Kim’s daughter was not named in the official report, the pictures released showed her wielding a pistol with senior military officers. Kim’s daughter, whom experts believe to be Kim Ju A and who is said to be around 13 years old, has been seen with her father in many public events over the past few years. This has also intensified the speculation that Kim is grooming him as a future leader.

Also saw the missile test

Before this visit, Kim Jong Un and his daughter also witnessed the cruise missile test from the country’s new naval ship. According to government media, this test was done to show the capability of North Korea’s naval strength and strategic weapons system. The missiles were launched from the new Choe Hyon destroyer off the country’s west coast.

Kim Jong Un said after the test that the country’s strategic weapons system is working reliably. He also directed to increase long-range strike capabilities and incorporate new supersonic weapon systems in future warships.

However, America still remains firm on the goal of complete denuclearization of North Korea.
