KKR: Former star of KKR exposed in match fixing case. ICC and Cricket West Indies filed a case against him.
KOLKATA: Jevon Searles and two other party officials have been accused of violating anti-corruption rules. ICC and Cricket West Indies have complained. The source of the complaint is the Bim10 League held in Barbados for the 2023–24 season.
Searles, owner of the Titans team Chitranjan Rathore and party officials Trayvon Griffith— All three have been provisionally banned from all forms of cricket with immediate effect. The ICC has said that they will have to respond to the complaint within 14 days from March 11, 2026.
These allegations mainly relate to possible corruption in the BIM10 tournament, which falls under the anti-corruption rules of the CWI. There is also an additional charge against Griffith related to international matches, which falls under the ICC’s anti-corruption rules.
The ICC said it was part of a larger investigation. Earlier on January 28, 2026 Aaron Jones– was also charged with five counts of breaching CWI and ICC anti-corruption rules.
Against Chitranjan Rathore: 3 charges. 4 charges against Jevon Searles. 5 charges against Trayvon Griffith (4 of CWI + 1 of ICC).
Allegation of match fixing or attempting to unlawfully influence the outcome, progress or conduct of a match. Encouraging or assisting players or support staff to commit such offences. Refusal or non-cooperation in corruption investigations.
Searles and Griffiths also face another charge of failing to disclose contact information or suggestions of possible corruption to Cricket West Indies. Griffiths is additionally accused by the ICC of obstructing a corruption investigation, such as withholding information or attempting to destroy evidence.
