Mithu Chowdhury and Thomas Chowdhury have been selling pizza from their own car in Siliguri for the past three months. Their settlement is in Farabari area near Siliguri city. A “Maruti Omni” car was kept in the house. Now they are going to different parts of the city by making shops in that car.
They named their shop “King’s Pizza”. The specialty of their pizzas is that the pizzas are made right in front of your eyes and served to you. A total of four types of pizza are available in their shop. But this shop has no fixed address. They reached different places of the city with this car. There is live pizza bikini set up shop.
Mithu says, “We are following the path shown by God. I love to cook. It suddenly occurred to us how it would be to make pizza in our car and feed people. It was a decision after that. Me and my husband joined the business. People loved it.” Subrata Pal who came to eat pizza said, ‘Really amazing concept. Eating pizza while sitting in AC is a lot, now standing on the street the taste of pizza is completely different and the price is also very cheap. Everyone should eat this pizza at least once.’
