Calcutta : Twelve years have passed since the terrible ski accident! No change in Formula One legend Michael Schumacher’s condition has been noticed so far. But this time there are signs of improvement in his physical condition.
According to a Fox Sports report, he is no longer bedridden. Schumacher has not been in public since suffering a serious head injury while skiing in the French Alps in 2013. As a result, very little is known about his current physical condition.
According to reports, Schumacher is now able to sit in a wheelchair. This makes it possible for the seven-time world champion to be transported in a wheelchair to his residences near Mallorca and Lake Geneva. He is still cared for by his wife Corinna and a team of dedicated doctors.
Due to the lack of information about his health over the past few years, there has been speculation that Schumacher may only be able to communicate with an eyelid. But recent reports suggest otherwise. “He understands some of what’s going on around him, but probably not everything,” a source said.
Two years ago there were rumors that Schumacher might attend the wedding of his daughter Gina-Maria, but those reports were later proven false. Gina-Maria shared a family photo on Schumacher’s birthday earlier this month. The photo before the accident was captioned, “The best. Happy birthday, Dad.”
This latest update comes after a comment from Richard Hopkins, who is known to be close to Schumacher’s racing life. Former Red Bull operations chief says fans will never see Schumacher again.
Hopkins said, “I don’t think we’ll see Michael again. I feel a little uncomfortable talking about his physical condition. Because his family, for good reason, want to keep it very private. I can give an opinion, but I’m not part of that inner circle. I’m not Jan Tad, Ross Brown or Gerhard Berger, who visit Michael. I’m far from that stage.”
