San Francisco: 22 year old Indian student from University of California, Berkeley Saket Srinivasaiah, The bodies of those who were missing for the last several days have been recovered. Local authorities have confirmed that his body was found near the same area where he was being searched. Saket was a resident of Karnataka and was pursuing his Masters in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley. He suddenly went missing last week, after which teams from Berkeley Police and East Bay Regional Park District launched a search operation around Lake Anza and Tilden Regional Park.

Search operation was going on for many days

22-year-old Saket was studying at the University of California, Berkeley. He was a resident of Karnataka and was pursuing a master’s degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering. Before this he had completed his graduation from IIT Madras. Saket was missing since last week. Teams of Berkeley Police and East Bay Regional Park District were searching for him. He was last seen in the Dwight Way area near McGee Avenue. His backpack, which contained a passport and laptop, was found near Tilden Regional Park. Police had earlier told that he could have been upset due to personal reasons. However, no official information regarding the cause of death has been made public till now.
