Trump made it clear that the US Army has so far carried out precise attacks on more than 7,000 military targets in Iran, which has almost paralyzed Iran’s ability to fight a war.

Addressing reporters on Monday just before an important meeting with Kennedy Center board members, Trump shared detailed information about this military success. Trump said in his usual aggressive style, “We are continuing to attack Iran’s ability to threaten commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. As part of this, more than 30 mine-laying ships have been destroyed.”
Mine-laying ships are specialized military vessels that are used to lay dangerous landmines under sea water. The purpose of these tunnels is to target warships or ordinary merchant ships of enemy countries passing through that route. President Trump said with full assurance, “To the best of our knowledge, we have destroyed all of their mine-laying ships. However, they may now try to use other types of ships to lay these mines.”
