NASA sent backup when scientists were short on International Space Station, watch video of launch
SpaceX has successfully launched the Crew-12 mission from Cape Canaveral, Florida today. The Falcon 9 rocket took off for space at 5:15 am with the ‘Freedom’ Dragon capsule. The mission includes NASA’s Jessica Meyer and Jack Hathaway, along with ESA’s Sophie Adenot and Roscosmos’ Andrey Fadeev. After reaching orbit, Jessica Meyer gave an emotional message to the control room, ‘We have left the Earth, but the Earth has not left us.’ This mission has been sent to help only three astronauts present on the International Space Station (ISS). In fact, last month Crew-11 had to suddenly return to Earth due to a medical emergency. For this reason, there was a huge shortage of staff on the ISS. Due to bad weather, this launch was delayed by two days, but now these four astronauts will stay there for the next eight months and carry forward important research and missions.
