Nicolas Maduro Message to Son: Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro was picked up by US military forces from Caracas and taken straight to New York. Ever since he went into American captivity, he had not received any direct message but this time he has sent a message to his son. Venezuelan MP Nicolas Maduro Guerra has informed that his father Nicolas Maduro has said through his lawyers that his intentions are still present. The message said that he is in good condition and has not broken down even while being detained in America.

Addressing the leaders of Venezuela’s ruling United Socialist Party on Saturday, Guerra said – ‘The lawyers told us that they are strong and we should not be sad. He said that his father has said- ‘We are fine. I am a fighter. Let us tell you that President Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, are currently in America. He has been kept in jail in Brooklyn until his next hearing on drug related crimes.

What message did Maduro send to his son?

Maduro Guerra said that his father is still standing. His supporters are united and standing strong. He said, our strength lies in unity. Whatever happens, we must remain united. Venezuela’s acting president, Delsey Rodriguez, promised on Saturday to secure the return of Maduro and his wife. At a community event in Miranda State, Rodriguez said that nothing has been decided about Venezuela’s leadership or governing program. He said that nothing is decided here. The Venezuelan people are in charge and there is a government of President Nicolas Maduro. Along with this, he appealed for unity to guarantee peace, stability and future of the country.

What did the acting President say?

Rodríguez vowed not to rest for a minute until Maduro and his wife Flores returned to Venezuela. He told that a year ago he had taken oath with Maduro at the beginning of his third term and said that today, after a year, we are taking oath for his freedom. Rodríguez said national unity will be key in the effort to save Maduro and reiterated that his government continues to implement the seven action lines outlined by Maduro.

How and when was Nicholas arrested?

1. On January 3, the US Army conducted a military strike in Caracas and three other cities of Venezuela.
2. American Delta Forces conducted an operation and arrested Maduro along with his wife by dragging them from the bedroom.
3. They arrested him and took him to New York and he is being prosecuted for drug trafficking.
