Diode, Fractional Carbon Dioxide, Excimer and ND-YAG machines in laser technology have been installed in the Institute of Dermatology department set up in Charak Bhawan, especially for the patients related to skin diseases. This will make treatment of congenital cosmetic diseases easier. Apart from this, in the department of dermatology, there will be facility for hair growth through PRP method, removal of wrinkles by tightening skin with Haifu machine, treatment of vitiligo and psoriasis through laser method and better treatment of skin diseases through radio frequency. After the launch of this department, treatment which used to cost lakhs of rupees in private cosmetic institutions will now be available to patients at a lower cost.

Skin diseases will be treated with these special machines

The Institute of Dermatology being built in Sawai Mansingh Hospital will have the facility of modern machines related to laser and cosmetic procedures for treatment. These include dermascope for in-depth examination of skin diseases, trichoscope for examining the causes of hair fall, thickness and scalp, diode laser for removing unwanted hair from the skin, fractional carbon dioxide laser for filling facial pits and removing warts, phototherapy for the treatment of white spots and Nd-YAG laser for removing marks like tattoos and birthmarks. According to medical officials, the Institute of Dermatology will be the first institute in the country at the government level and the second institute abroad after London. There is also a plan to build a Center of Excellence here, where along with treatment, training will also be given to doctors.

Every year 4 lakh patients come to Charak Bhawan.

According to senior doctors of Sawai Mansingh Hospital, every year about 4 lakh patients come to the dermatology department of the hospital for treatment. In view of the increasing number of patients, an Institute of Dermatology is being started in the hospital, which will benefit lakhs of people. After the launch of the institute, people will be provided with easy treatment using excimer technology, research facilities and better medicines to increase immunity, especially for vitiligo.
