Rashid is deeply saddened by the news of civilian deaths in Kabul, and according to him, targeting civilian homes, educational institutions or medical infrastructure intentionally or accidentally is a war crime. He believes the recent airstrikes will only increase division and hatred.
Rashid X wrote, “I am deeply saddened by the latest news of civilian deaths in the Pakistani airstrikes in Kabul. Targeting civilian homes, educational institutions or medical infrastructure intentionally or by mistake is a war crime. Such disregard for human life, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, is very painful and alarming. It will only increase division and hatred. I urge the UN and other human rights organizations to fully investigate this latest atrocity and hold the culprits accountable.” To do. I stand by my Afghan people in this difficult time. We will recover as a nation. We always do!”
Nabi also lambasted Pakistan by posting a clip on X and wrote, “Tonight in Kabul, the light of hope was extinguished in a hospital. Young people who came for treatment were killed in bomb attacks by the Pakistani military. Mothers stood in front of the gate calling their sons’ names. Their lives ended on the 28th night of Ramadan.”
Earlier in the night we heard a loud explosion in Kabul. After a while, I saw flames rising into the sky from a hospital hit by a Pakistani airstrike. In the month of Ramadan, after people had broken their fast, innocent lives were lost and many others were injured.
