Expressing his support for regional language commentary in sports, Mohammed Shami said, “I prefer local language for sports commentary. India has many languages and people living in villages don’t always understand English.”
On the second day of the summit, Mohammed Shami also spoke about his experience in the 2023 World Cup He described the moment as a career highlight “Those were the best days of my life”, he said, highlighting the memorable moments and teamwork that made the tournament an unforgettable chapter in his journey as an athlete.
