Sadhvi Prem Baisa death: The death of Sadhvi Prem Baisa, resident of Jodhpur, has become a mystery. Whether this is an accident, a conspiracy or a suicidal step, nothing is clear. In the case of Baisa’s death, this injection is also under question after it was said that father Veeramnath died after Dexona injection. But the biggest question is whether the injection being put in the dock is so lethal that it can take someone’s life? about this Dr. Raman Kumar, Founder President of Academy of Family Physicians of India. Know from…
Dr. Raman Kumar says, ‘As it is being said about Dexona injection that its administration has resulted in death, till now to my knowledge there is no such case in which anyone has died due to its administration. This injection has been given to patients in general practice, but no incident of death due to it has ever come to my notice. However, its side effects are seen.
Why is this injection given?
Dr. Raman says that this injection is a steroid medicine which is mainly given in case of any kind of allergy, arthritis, immunity related health conditions, asthma or difficulty in breathing. However, it has been observed that non-qualified practitioners i.e. quacks have also been administering these injections to patients in case of fever etc. It is available in both injection and tablet forms and its single dose is the same as a normal paracetamol dose.
‘There is no possibility of death in its side effects but they are visible in the long term, such as metabolic disturbance, weakening of immunity, steroid dependency, our adrenal glands work less, some other changes can be seen in the body, but as far as death is concerned, it cannot happen by taking this injection because it is a life saving medicine. In such a situation, it is possible that there may be some other reason for death, it should be investigated.
Sadhvi Prem Baisa was originally a resident of Parau village of Balotra district. His mother Amaru Baisa was a housewife. Whereas father Birma Ram was a truck driver by profession. After the death of mother Amaru, father Veeramnath took Prem Baisa in his childhood. Jodhpur Guru Kripa came to the ashram. Baisa acquired spiritual knowledge of story telling and bhajan under the guidance of Saint Rajaram and Saint Kripa Ram in the ashram.
When Prem Baisa became popular for reciting Bhagwat stories and singing bhajans, she separated from Guru Kripa Ashram and started living in Sadhna Kutir Ashram on Pal Road in Jodhpur. Many saints from across the country including Baba Ramdev participated in the inauguration of this ashram.
Prem Baisa also built an ashram in his ancestral village Pareu village in Balotra district, where Bhagwat Katha was recited, but after a land dispute with his family, a case was registered with the police.
Six months ago, Sadhvi and father were in dispute over a viral video. When Prem Baisa questioned the manner in which Sadhvi hugged her father in the video, she lodged a complaint with the police. The police had arrested the accused who made the video.
