Agra. Due to changing weather, the virus is spreading rapidly in Agra. The number of viral fever patients has increased in the city hospitals. The senior doctor said that due to the body temperature not remaining normal in the changing seasons, people easily fall prey to viral fever.
Symptoms and causes of viral fever
According to the doctor, many times people consume cold water, cold drinks or ice cream when they feel hot or sweat, due to which infection occurs in the body and it turns viral. After going viral, symptoms like fever, cough and cold start appearing in the patients.
Number of patients suddenly increased
Senior doctor of Agra, Dr. Ashish Mittal said that due to sudden change in weather, the number of viral fever patients has increased. He said that when the body’s immunity is weak, it is common for it to turn into viral fever. Patients may suffer from problems like cough, cold, high fever and body pain. Dr. Ashish warned that if the fever lasts for more than two-three days and there is severe body pain, then one should not be careless and should immediately consult the nearest doctor. In the initial stages, the virus can be controlled through proper medicines and testing.
Protection from refrigerator water and AC
Dr. Ashish told that the weather is changing rapidly in March. Due to strong sunlight and heat in the afternoon, people often overuse cold water from the refrigerator or AC, due to which their immunity can weaken and they may fall ill. He suggested that after exposure to sunlight, let the body normalize and then take water or cold drinks. If there are signs of any problem in the body, it is important to consult your doctor.
