Dress your baby in light colored long sleeves, cotton pants made of soft and breathable fabrics. This will prevent direct contact with colours. To protect their eyes during Holi, they can wear baby-safe goggles or sunglasses.

Use herbal or natural colors for children, which can also be made at home. Colors made from natural things like beetroot, turmeric, spinach and rose water are safer. Choose a safe place for children to play Holi.

Huge confusion on the date of Holi

Avoid playing Holi in crowded areas or on the roadside, as there is a risk of an accident. Encourage children to play Holi in the courtyard or park. Do not send anyone to play Holi on the rooftop without supervision.

After Holi, definitely bathe your children with clean water. Apply baby lotion to cool the child’s skin. Watch your child carefully to prevent itching or rashes. If any kind of unusual symptoms are seen, immediately consult a doctor.
