But people are criticizing its director Rob Marshall and Disney for casting a black person in the film. Rob has responded to these criticisms and offered his clarification on Ariel’s casting.
Director Rob Marshel has revealed about the casting of Ariel and said that he had no such agenda when it came to the casting of Ariel. According to Variety’s report, the director told Entertainment Weekly that his team did not make any “misconceptions” about any of the actors or other casting in the film.
