If chronic cough is troubling you, then making a decoction of red Kachnar flower and taking it in about 20 ml quantity can provide relief. The ash of its dried stem is used as a toothpaste for toothache. Making a decoction of bark and flowers and gargling with it provides relief from mouth ulcers.
Benefits in blood purification and skin diseases
Cooling the decoction of Kachnar bark or flower and adding honey to it and taking it twice a day helps in blood purification. In case of boils or acne, applying a paste of its leaves provides relief. Even today people in villages use it as a home remedy.
