Nobel Foundation Reply on Trump Award Transfer: Nobel Foundation has ruined Donald Trump’s desire to get Nobel. On Machado transferring his award to Trump, the Foundation bluntly said that this honor is not a property that can be divided. This is a befitting reply to those rulers who want to use global prestige for their politics. Nobel is not given for charity, but for the greatest service to humanity.

Has the world’s most prestigious honour, the Nobel Prize, now become a part of some political bargain or return gift? We are not asking this question but it was raised by the Nobel Prize awarding body itself. Venezuela’s Maria Corina Machado had talked about giving her Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump. But the Nobel Foundation has deflated the so-called achievement of Trump with a strong and clear statement. The Foundation made it clear that Alfred Nobel’s will is not a street trophy that can be symbolically handed over to anyone. This is a strong slap on the face of those people who were trying to make a dignified honor like Nobel a part of Trump’s marketing.

Rebuke of Trump, Machado and Foundation
Amid the power struggle in Venezuela, Machado dedicating or giving his Nobel to Trump was considered ridiculous in diplomatic circles. The Nobel Foundation officially clarified that the prize is given only to those who have brought the greatest benefit to mankind. The foundation stressed that no winner can transfer or distribute his or her prize to anyone else, even symbolically. This statement is a direct attack on Trump’s image in which he considers himself deserving of every major honor. The Trump administration, which raised the slogan of America First, was now trying to bend international standards like Nobel to its own terms. This strictness of the Foundation has made it clear that being the President of the world’s largest power does not mean that you should consider the most prestigious medals in history as your property.
