The 90 feet tall grand statue of ‘Panchloha Abhay Hanuman’ in Texas, America is now the target of fundamentalists. Carlos Turchios, an activist associated with Trump’s ‘MAGA’ campaign, has termed this statue as an attack by immigrants and termed Indian-Americans as ‘Third World Aliens’. After this comment, people are now showing the mirror to Carlos on social media that in a country where Indians have the biggest role in progress, calling their faith ‘occupation’ is proof of their sick mentality.

Washington: Now ‘dirty’ politics has started regarding a giant statue of Lord Hanuman in Texas, America. The America which was promoted as an example of ‘freedom and equality’. Now some fundamentalists are seen creating an atmosphere filled with hatred there. These people now see ‘foreign attack’ in the idol of Hanuman ji. Such an environment is being created by none other than the supporters of President Trump. Recently, a person associated with Trump’s ideology and politics made a comment which surprised everyone.

Without any provocation, Carlos Turchio has described this statue as an ‘attack of migrants’ and has tried to create unrest by demanding that it be stopped immediately. The statue over which this dispute is taking place is known as ‘Panchloha Abhay Hanuman’. This 90 feet high statue was unveiled in August 2024.

The Indian-American community and many local Americans have commented on the post showing a mirror to them that ‘just as the church and the huge cross are the identity of America, similarly the temple and the statue of Hanuman ji are also a part of the religious freedom provided under the US Constitution’.
Users reminded that people of Indian origin are making the biggest contribution to America’s economy and technology, calling them ‘aliens’ is foolish.
Spreading hatred is nothing new for Carlos Turcios. He has spewed venom against the Indian and Muslim communities many times before. He often calls Indian IT professionals and people coming on H-1B visa as ‘infiltrators’.
