Neem has been called a cure for all diseases in Ayurveda. That is, a herb which has the ability to eradicate many diseases. According to the doctor, Neem is not limited to teeth only, rather it plays a big role in strengthening our entire body from within. The doctor says that even today there is no break in the antibacterial properties of Neem. Therefore, it must be included in everyday life.

In fact, Gaurav Kumar, an AYUSH expert from Rae Bareli district, while talking to Local 18, says that Neem is full of antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. The natural elements present in it give the body strength to fight infections. This is the reason why even today people in rural areas follow the tradition of chewing neem leaves during the changing seasons.
Helpful in increasing immunity: According to Gaurav Kumar, the antioxidants present in neem leaves help in strengthening the immunity of the body. Regular and limited consumption can reduce the risk of viral infection.
Beneficial for blood purification and skin: Neem is considered a blood purifier. Chewing 4-5 soft leaves in the morning on an empty stomach helps in flushing out the toxins from the body. Its effect is also visible on the skin and can provide relief from problems like acne or boils.
Keep the digestive system healthy: Neem leaves are also considered helpful in improving digestion. It can be beneficial in the problems of gas, indigestion and stomach worms.
Keep these precautions in mind: Although Neem is a natural medicine, its excessive consumption can be harmful. Pregnant women, small children and people suffering from serious diseases should not consume it without doctor’s advice. Due to bitterness, taking it in excess quantity can also cause vomiting or stomach ache.
