What is Board of Peace?
To establish peace in the world, US President Donald Trump has started the Board of Peace. Trump sent invitations to about 60 countries of the world to participate in this. According to Israeli media, 25 out of 60 countries of the world have accepted Trump’s invitation.

Israel, Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Egypt, Vietnam and Mongolia were included in this list.
What is the update for other countries?
- Eight Islamic countries have accepted the invitation to join the Board of Peace. The US President had also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join the board announced under the second phase of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement in Gaza. However, at present no decision has come from India on this. The Foreign Ministry had said that it is currently under consideration.
- Apart from this, France, Britain, China, Germany, Sweden, Norway and many other big countries did not participate in this signing ceremony.
- Many countries like Germany, Italy, Paraguay, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine have not made any promises on this invitation.
- The tenure of member countries on the board will be limited to three years, and a reported $1 billion will have to be paid to gain permanent membership.
