New Delhi. The T1 smartphone of US President Donald Trump’s company Trump Mobile, which has been in the news for a long time, may now be launched soon, but it will not be made in America. Earlier it was being claimed that the T1 smartphone will be made in America, but now the company officials themselves have confirmed that the phone is being manufactured outside America.
Trump Mobile senior executives Don Hendrickson and Eric Thomas told in an interview that most of the production of T1 phones will be done abroad. Final assembly of only selected parts will be done in America, which will take place in Miami, Florida. According to the company, this phone does not meet the rules of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of America under which a product can be called Made in America.
The phone may hit the market by the end of March
The company also said that the T1 smartphone can hit the market by the end of March. Earlier it was planned to launch it in August or September, but it was delayed due to changes in design and specifications. The new version will now have a larger 6.8-inch display, which is much larger than the earlier 6.25-inch screen.
Design changed, features stronger
Talking about the features, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7-series processor will be available in the T1 phone. In terms of storage, the phone has been upgraded and it will be provided with 512GB of inbuilt storage. Along with this, support for microSD card up to 1TB will also be available. Changes have also been made in the design. The camera module at the back of the phone will now be oval shaped instead of square. Apart from this, T1 will be written in big letters on the back panel of the phone, along with the American flag symbol and Trump Mobile logo will also be given.
Price may increase
An update has also come out regarding the price. Customers who have pre-booked by paying $100 will get the phone for $499. At the same time, new customers may have to pay a higher price, although the company has made it clear that its price will be less than $ 1,000.
