Amidst a severe snow storm in America, a private jet crashed after takeoff at Bangor Airport in Maine. There were eight people on board the plane. The airport was closed after the accident. There is a state of emergency in more than 20 states of the country. 19 crore people are affected and thousands of flights have been cancelled.

A private jet crashed after taking off from Bangor Airport on Sunday evening. There were a total of eight people on board this plane, which included three crew members and five passengers. After the accident, the airport was immediately closed and the relief team reached the spot. It is not yet clear what is the condition of all the passengers. This aircraft was a Bombardier Challenger 650 business jet.
When did the accident happen?
According to CNN report, the accident happened at around 7.45 pm. A few minutes before takeoff, mention of low visibility and snow accumulation was heard in a conversation between the control room and the pilot. About two minutes after getting permission to take off from the runway, the controller’s voice echoed – ‘All aircraft movement should be stopped.’ After this it was told that ‘the plane is lying upside down.’ Immediately after this, emergency was imposed at the airport. Only emergency vehicles are allowed to go to the runway.
