A separate clinic for transgenders is run in AIIMS New Delhi, it is called Transgender Clinic. Every year about 300 new patients get registered in this clinic and about 600 patients come here every year for follow-up treatment. According to doctors, young people aged between 20 to 30 years come to this clinic as patients and receive treatment ranging from surgery to hormone therapy.
