In the season of February, when winters are ending, people are repeatedly troubled by cold related diseases. In Ayurveda, its reason is said to be change in weather. To avoid this, some home remedies can be very useful for you, which are explained in detail in this article.

February is not only the month of festivals but also the month of diseases. During the winter months, due to seasonal changes, there is a problem of feeling sometimes hot and sometimes cold. Due to the sunshine during the day, people avoid warm clothes and feel like drinking cold drinks, but very few know that the mild cold that occurs during this time is the real cause of diseases.
In the month of February, there is a season of pleasant sunshine and mild cold in North India, this is called the change of season because it is a sign of the end of winter, but during that time the body’s immunity is most affected because the combination of cold winds coming from the mountains and strong sunlight during the day is the right time and right environment for viruses and bacteria to grow. This is the reason why cases of viral, cough, fever and typhoid are seen the most in February and March, especially around the time of Holi.
proper care is necessary
Ayurveda has advised to take special care from February to March. Ayurveda believes that it is very important to strengthen the immunity in this season. For this, some remedies have also been suggested in Ayurveda.
– Consuming decoction of Giloy and Tulsi. To strengthen the immunity, the decoction of Giloy and Tulsi works like a medicine. In Ayurveda it is called ‘Amrita’. For this, make a decoction of Giloy and basil leaves and drink it every morning. This will reduce the risk of infection.
– Consuming dry ginger and honey. Consumption of dry ginger and honey helps in getting relief from cough and throat diseases. Due to this, the phlegm accumulated in the lungs also becomes loose and starts coming out. Dry ginger and honey daily will also help in protecting from cold. At the time of seasonal change, one feels like drinking cold water or beverages, but Ayurveda advises to drink lukewarm water throughout the month. Drinking refrigerator water can be the biggest mistake in the month of February. Along with this, avoid things like curd and ice cream and eat winter-like hot food in your diet. Despite the heat, do not avoid warm clothes
