Earlier this disease was seen only in the elderly, but nowadays due to wrong daily routine, wrong eating habits and use of food items containing chemicals, it is spreading rapidly among the young people also. This disease hollows the body from within. Dr. Santosh Kumar Srivastava, an Ayurvedic doctor working at Medical College Sultanpur, tells Local 18 that people become vulnerable to diabetes due to lack of insulin in the body or inability to produce insulin. If we talk about other reasons, then sugar also starts due to wrong eating habits, heredity and food items containing chemicals.

Ayurvedic physician Dr. Santosh Srivastava says that using jamun seeds is very beneficial for its diagnosis. Jamun contains abundant amounts of essential nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, vitamin C, antioxidants. It has been said in many scientific researches that it protects the body from many diseases.

Dr. Santosh says that exercise is the biggest solution for diabetes. Whenever we eat food, we must walk 100 steps after eating. One should sleep only after that. It is very beneficial in controlling sugar. If after blood checkup it is confirmed that there is sugar in the body, then apart from jamun seeds, one should start consuming neem oil, bitter gourd and fenugreek seeds. These control sugar.
