WPL 2026 Final, RCB Vs DC: Women’s Premier League 2026 has reached its very last lap mega final. On Thursday, February 5, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will meet in the final in Vadodara.
The much-awaited final match of the Women’s Premier League 2026 will be held on Thursday, February 5. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will meet in the title fight at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. In this match, RCB will be aiming to win their second ‘Women’s IPL’ title, while Delhi Capitals will be looking to fulfill their dream of winning the trophy for the first time.
Royal Challengers Bangalore are considered favorites in the final due to their consistent performance in the current season. Smriti Mandhana’s side finished at the top of the points table after winning six out of eight matches in the league stage. They were the first to secure the ticket to the finals by showing equal dominance in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.
On the other hand, Jemima Rodriguez-led Delhi Capitals made a great comeback in the tournament. At the end of the league stage, they defeated UP Warriors in a do or die match to make it to the playoffs. Delhi then reached the final by defeating Gujarat Giants in the eliminator on February 3. Despite reaching the final 3 times before, Delhi did not get the taste of winning the trophy. Now desperate to fulfill their elusive dreams.
Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals have previously met nine times in all seasons of the Women’s Premier League. Of these, Delhi has won six times, while Bengaluru has won three times. Although Delhi is ahead in the head-to-head statistics, cricket lovers are expecting a tough fight between the two teams in the final stage.
