Comedian Zakir Health: Famous standup comedian Zakir Khan has announced that he is now taking a break from his work for a few years. He told that the pressure of continuous work for a long time has caused great harm to his body. Secondly, due to family genes, this problem has increased further in that the family members start facing this problem after a certain age. Although this genetic disease is not fatal, it causes a lot of physical problems. Burnout is the biggest problem in this. Along with this, continuous lack of sleep and continuous work has broken the body. For this reason, he has announced to take a long break after his upcoming project Papa Yaar. In such a situation, the question arises that what is the genetic disease in their family due to which they are suffering from burnout.
What is burn out?
First let us know what is the meaning of burnout. In fact, when the body and mind get tired due to continuous work and stress for a long time, lack of rest and lack of sleep, then it is called burnout. In this, there is a huge reduction in the body’s ability to work. Meaning, a person is not able to work as per his capacity. In medical science, burnout is called chronic stress syndrome. Zakir Khan has mentioned this burnout which occurs due to disturbances in genes. He said that I myself have harmed my body. Zakir Khan has said that there are genetic diseases in my family. Therefore, doctors have advised to change lifestyle in the initial phase. If I don’t do this, there will be a lot of trouble.
what is the problem
In the report of Indian Express, Zakir Khan said that now I am taking a break. It could be a break of three, four or five years. With this I will be able to take care of my health and fix some other things as well. Every person present here today is very close to my heart. Your presence means more to me than you can imagine and I will be forever grateful to you all. In an interview given to Gulf News, Zakir said, I have to take care of my health. There are some genetic diseases in my family which appear after a certain age. Apart from this, I myself have harmed my body. After sleeping only for two hours, he would set out to meet thousands of people. Because as soon as you land in a city, you immediately start meeting people. Zakir also told that there was constant pressure on him to be the first person in his family to achieve success on a large scale. For this reason, he gave priority to work above everything else for almost a decade so that he could prepare some paths for the coming generations. When you keep your foot on the accelerator for ten years continuously, damage to the body is bound to happen. Initially I thought that I would manage my health along with my work. But last year when we were in America, I realized that it is not possible to do both the tasks simultaneously. That’s when I took this decision.
It is dangerous to ignore for a long time
Dr. Palliti Shiva Karthik Reddy, Consultant Physician, Elite Care Clinic, while talking to Express, said that when you are young, the body takes care of itself to a great extent in the initial years, which creates the illusion that even by sleeping less, you can function better than usual. But prolonged lack of sleep and persistent stress gradually starts damaging hormonal balance, immune system, metabolism and heart health. This causes constant fatigue, swelling in the body, insulin resistance, weak immune system, stomach related problems and increased risk of anxiety, depression and heart disease. What people perceive as a sudden burnout or illness is often not a single moment of failure, but the cumulative effect of extreme physical stress placed on the body over years.
Why is it important to change lifestyle?
It is very important for those people who have this problem in their family after some time to make their lifestyle favorable. According to Dr. Reddy, this decides whether gene-related diseases will become active quickly or remain suppressed for a long time. Dr. Reddy says that initial steps like regular sleep, controlling stress, balanced diet and periodic preventive health screening can prevent the occurrence of diseases to a great extent or reduce their impact. But if, despite rest, you experience persistent fatigue, unexplained pain, digestive problems, mood swings, it takes longer to recover from common illnesses, or you feel burdened or stressed all the time, then you need to be alert. In such a situation, immediate medical intervention is required.
