Chennai: The controversy surrounding the RCB vs CSK match is again surrounding the ‘Dosa, Idli…’ song. This time the yellow brigade (Chennai Super Kings) approached the BCCI about this, the complaint was also reported.

CSK faced RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 5. In that match, Chinnaswamy’s DJ played the song ‘Dosa, Idli, Sambar, Chutni, Chutni’. This song made by Gana Appu has been viral on social media for a long time. But in many cases it is used to express prejudice against South India and South Indians. CSK’s problem mainly revolves around the duration of the song’s use in the stadium and, according to them, they have been disrespected by it.

DJs played the Na Na song at various IPL stadiums, encouraging the fans with various comments to get them more involved in the match. But in the April 5 match The song was played after the CSK players were dismissed and the DJ also made various comments about their players, which the CSK authorities felt violated the limits of decency.

IPLAn official said the tournament’s governing council has received a complaint and an investigation is underway. CSK CEO Kashi Viswanathan also confirmed the fact of filing this complaint and said, ‘DJs are usually there to support the home team. But it was different in case of Chinnaswamy Stadium. Certain comments have been made against our players due to which we have complained in writing to the BCCI. DJ is not supposed to make any comments about opposing players.’

This is not the first time that RCB and CSK have had a controversy over this song. In the past RCB keeper Jitesh Sharma was also seen singing this song after the win against CSK. There was a lot of controversy about it, Jitesh had to face the wrath of CSK supporters. However, at that time the Chennai franchise stepped in and took it upon themselves to calm the situation, requesting that fans not target opposing cricketers around these incidents. Similar incidents were repeated elsewhere after that incident. However, in the match against RCB, the controversy started again around the use of the same song.
