New Chandigarh: Failed Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s devastating innings of 96 runs. Gujarat Titans beat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the second qualifier to reach the final. Skipper Shubman Gill scored a devastating century. Prince played an important role in giving Gujarat a one-sided victory. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 214 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing runs, Gujarat won the match by scoring 219 runs for 3 wickets in 18.4 overs. Gill played the biggest innings for the team and scored 104 runs off 53 balls with the help of 15 fours and 3 sixes.
Sai Sudarshan, who opened with Gill, also played a great innings and scored a half-century. The duo put on a 167-run (77-ball) partnership for the first wicket to almost seal victory. Sudarshan scored 58 runs off 32 balls with 8 fours and 1 six. He got out as a hit wicket in this match as in the previous match. This time Gujarat is the second finalist. Gujarat will play against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final match on May 31 (Sunday).
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s innings failed
Rajasthan captain Ryan Parag won the toss and decided to bat. For the team, 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 96 runs off 47 balls with the help of 8 fours and 7 sixes. Along with Suryavanshi, Ravindra Jadeja scored 45 runs. The rest of the team’s batsmen could not do much.

Apart from Suryavanshi and Jadeja, Yasswi Jaiswal scored 1 run, Dhruv Jharal 7 runs, captain Ryan Parag 11 runs, Dasun Shanaka 3 runs, Jofra Archer 7 runs and Denovan Ferrera scored 38* off 11 balls. Ferrera had 2 fours and 4 sixes in his innings.
