Shami picked up three wickets in three consecutive balls in the last three balls of the 16th over of Srachchi Raha Tigers’ innings. Srachchi Red Tigers captain Shahbaz Amed, Rohit Kumar and Dipanjan Mukhopadhyay returned respectively. Earlier, Shami had also sent back Sumant Gupta of Srachchi Radha Tigers.

Shami remained unbeaten on 8 runs off 2 balls with the help of 1 six. Captain Shahbaz Amed, Raju Halder, Sukhmeet Singh and Rahul Prasad took one wicket each.

Srachchi Raha Tigers lost 9 wickets and got stuck at 184 in the run chase. Shubham De senior scored 48 and Rahul Prasad scored 44 runs. Karan Lal took three wickets and Ishan Podel and Vishal Bhatti took one wicket each.

Murshidabad lost to Malda

Malda snatched victory against Murshidabad by 7 wickets in the Bengal T20 League. Sobisco Smashers Malda won the toss and took the field at Eden. Due to rain, the match was 15 overs. Murshidabad Kings scored 134 runs for 7 wickets. Sobisco Smashers Malda took three wickets to reach the target in 13.4 overs.
