In an interview to news agency PTI, Kapil Dev said, “He is a special talent, give him time. But Vaibhav has shown his talent in a different way. I think he is incredible, but he has to hold himself right in Team India, keep himself fit and more.”

‘It would be a mistake to expect too much’

Kapil Dev also said, “How focused he is can be answered by himself. But for me he is a special talent. There is nothing wrong with having expectations on a young player, but it would be wrong to expect too much at this stage.”

Legend Kapil Dev also said, “Let him stay in the team, he will understand. Club or franchise cricket is completely different, when you play for your country, there is a different mindset. Give him time. I would say to the media, don’t expect too much.”
