Birmingham: India beat Pakistan by 64 runs in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday. It was Team India’s biggest margin of victory against Pakistan in T20 World Cup history, and Deepti Sharma was adjudged Player of the Match for taking 5 wickets. After this historic victory of the Indian team, a video has gone viral on social media, where it is seen that the Pakistani captain had a fierce fight with Harmanpreet Kaur.

Authenticity of viral videos

After India’s 64-run win over Pakistan, a video has gone viral, claiming that Harmanpreet Kaur and Pakistan captain Fatima Sana fought each other. In the viral video, it was seen that the Pakistani player first said something to Harmanpreet, after which the Indian captain grabbed him by the throat and pushed him. Later the umpire and other players intervened.

ABP Live checked this video and found that it was created by AI. This video of controversy and fight between Harmanpreet Kaur and Fatima Sana is completely fake. Pakistan captain Fatima Sana’s jersey number is 14, but the viral video shows her jersey number is 55. On the other hand, the color of the umpire’s jersey is red, whereas the jersey color shown in this video is dark red. A lot of evidence proves this video fake.

Harmanpreet-Fatima did not shake hands

When Harmanpreet Kaur and Fatima Sana took to the field for the toss before the start of the Women’s T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan, the two did not shake hands. This ‘no handshake’ policy by India has been going on since the 2025 Men’s Asia Cup. Harmanpreet also said, ‘We have come to play cricket. Not to think about anything else.’
