Now that young fast bowler has been called to the Indian ‘A’ team. He is Ashok Sharma. He was seen playing for Gujarat Titans in this year’s IPL. It was Ashok who was called up to the Indian ‘A’ team for the first time in place of the injured Yudhabir Singh.
Ashok took six wickets in six matches for Gujarat Titans in this year’s IPL. Although he was played ahead of Gurnoor Brar in the beginning, he did not get much of a chance in the latter. It is not that he has a lot of experience in ODI cricket. Ashok made his debut in List A cricket in the last Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has taken 13 wickets in seven matches in the 50-over format, including taking five wickets in a match.
But he took maximum 22 wickets in Syed Mustar Ali. After that, Gujarat Titans paid him 90 lakhs IPL Recently Ashok decided to leave Rajasthan and play domestic cricket for Gujarat. He has also been given the consent letter required for the change of party by Rajasthan. Soon after this change of party, his luck opened up. The 23-year-old cricketer got a chance for the national ‘A’ team. As per TOI report, Ashok will leave for Sri Lanka today. He will join the ‘A’ team in Dambulla ahead of the do-or-die match.

The Indian ‘A’ team lost the Super Over against Sri Lanka amid much controversy and controversy. Tilak Verma’s team India scored 265 runs batting first in this match.
